Meet Maia Chaka

Shattering ceilings and calling shots on the field, Virginia Beach Teacher Maia Chaka becomes the first black woman to referee and NFL game! ((insert crown emoji)) As the line judge during Sunday’s game between the Carolina Panthers and New York Jets which aired on CBS, Chaka made history as the 3rd female NFL officiate in the league and the first woman of color. We absolutely love to see it.
