OWN’s New Drama Series ‘Delilah’ is Here

We are always looking to fill up our weekday evenings with a good watch, right ladies?

After last week’s 2 hour season premier of OWN’s new drama series, “Delilah” is back with a with episode 3 on deck to help us unwind while getting to know the Charlotte based powerhouse lawyer a little more.

Brought to us by Greenleaf’s creative team, including Winfrey as part of the producer line up, Delilah is set in North Carolina and follows the journey of a single mother who left her position at a demanding law firm years prior to make raising her kids the priority. Delilah Connolly, played by Maahra Hill, has since started her own practice and is now navigating the industry and all of its politics, while maintaining a work-life balance, growing a business, motherhood, friendship and everyday challenges we face as women.

In addition to parenting her own 2 kids, Connolly is taking care of her nephew to help family, managing the usual battles of a difficult ex, and has just taken on a huge case outside of her normal scope that is about to put her head up with the big boy law firms and… her best friend Tamara (Jill Marie Jones) for the first time in both their careers.

The drama has an investigative feel and aims to be authentic and relative to Black Women and real life experiences.
