ABC’s Hip Hop Drama To Star Brandy, Eve & More

Brandy announced ABC’s forthcoming music drama series ‘Queens’ on International Women’s Day, and we’ve finally gotten an inside look as the cameras start rolling!

Brandy, EVE & Naturi Naughton are all on deck for day 1

of production for “Queens”!

Alongside these 3 powerhouses, Actress/Model Nadine Velazquez will co-star in the hour long drama which follows the members of a 90’s Hip Hop Girl group, now in their 40s. Their reunion opens an opportunity to revisit their passion for music, which crowned the group legends in the Hip Hop world back in the day.

20 years later the ladies are wives, mothers, some in complicated relationships, and they are all now settled into their very different lives. Jumping at the chance to regroup and reclaim their title as Queens of the game also comes with the challenge of balancing new realities of their friendship and personal lives.

The show which recently began production in Atlanta, is expected to have a heavy musical foundation. Both Brandy & Eve are slated to offer up original music content for the show’s soundtrack.
