She is now the unified WBC, WBO, IBF & WBA Super Junior Middleweight World Champion, making her the first fighter, male or female, to win an undisputed championship in two weight classes.

The match took place in Flint Michigan, where she started boxing at 11 years old. A global pandemic would prevent the building from being a otherwise being a packed house, but non the less, she was proud to claim victory in the city where it all started. “Never in a million years did I think I’d be on pay-per-view and fighting for an undisputed title and be one of the biggest stars in boxing. I just wanted to win an Olympic Gold medal”, said Shields. Not only has she achieved her own vision for herself, she’s made HERstory as the one and only two-weight and three-weight world champion, and well… the #GWOAT (Greatest Woman Of All Time) as she’s proudly claimed, and rightfully so!
