Out & About: Black Girl Art Show {Exclusive}

Dope. Unique. Spectacular!

Traveling around the country, this experience is "creating a desire for a younger generation to purchase black art & empowering the women behind the work.” That’s how curator Joshua Dingle described the inspiration behind the concept. In its 3rd year, A Spectacular Black Girl Art Show is proving to dive deeper than being an event to buy and sell artwork. The creative exhibition travels the US providing a platform for Black and Brown women artists to not only showcase their gifts but also speak their truths and deliver powerful messages through art.

“Regardless of the different artists and different mediums, their all us and their all beautiful. So for us to be able to not only celebrate creativity, but also just to celebrate us, our culture, how far we’ve come, the music, the networking, the positive energy and the support of each other, it was the impact for me. At the end of the day, that’s what matters the most, leaving an event and feeling impacted.”
