Views: Tabitha Brown’s Book Tour Kicks off in NC

Rather you prefer to call her Auntie Tab or Momma Brown, one thing is for certain we’ve all been inspired by Tabitha Brown’s incredible journey. From her personal health struggles that led to a newfound vegan lifestyle, to a wildly successful career path, it’s been refreshing to watch the blessings continue to rain on someone who’s so relatable, and well.. just like us. She’s a billboard of what God’s work looks like. And while sharing her gifts on social platforms and television, Sis never misses an opportunity to remind us with her famed tagline #OohGodIthankYou.

Then there’s family, fun and food. That’s the recipe for a life well lived!

Following up her legendary McCormick Partnership, Youtube Originals Childrens Show, TARGET Clothing Collection and Food Network Competiton Show comes a highly anticipated release, a cookbook.

The wait is over for Brown’s vegan followers and foodie enthusiasts. The actress and influencer is cheffing up a lot of love and plant-based eating in "Cooking from the Spirit’.

Days after the release anniversary for her NY Times bestseller “Feeding the Soul”, Tab’s debut cookbook has arrived. The collection of recipes is paired with the inspirational stories behind the instructions, complimented by the opportunity to get in the kitchen with your favorite Auntie. The project was a goal much earlier on. But as Brown would so confidently say in the warmest voice, God’s timing is always perfect.

Like many things, the pandemic paused the original process for Cooking from the Spirit. “People needed their souls fed at the time”, she says. Now is the era for rebuilding, focusing on wellness and also having some fun with food while getting educated about healthier habits.

The concept of Cooking from the Spirit was inspired by the idea of cooking without measurements and “trusting yourself”.

That’s how she described it to a room full of excited fans hanging on to her every word at the book tour’s kick off night in Charlotte NC.

She went on to share the story about how growing up, she never had recipes to use. “My Granny always told me, girl use what you like, you know how you like it!”

It’s what makes Cooking from the Spirit so special.

Women, men, couples and even a few of the kiddos poured in from all other the Carolina native’s home state to be in the presence of that contagious personality, magnetic energy and empowering perspective we’ve come to know and love. A packed house at Charlotte’s Belk Theatre @ Blumental Performing Arts welcomed the star on Saturday to help celebrate the historical moment for her career.

The ladies did not come to play in their Tab x Target fashions. The fellas casually strolled in with swag just behind their significant other ready to let her shine for a night out of empowerment. Every ticket holder was treated with a complimentary copy of the book, and surprise sightings of a few familiar faces from Brown’s family all over the building. There were smiles everywhere as the energy was just that good.

The moderator’s first question opened up the conversation for what we all know is Tab’s favorite thing, family.

“Well first of all, ain’t we all family”? She reassured the audience.

“Family is everything to me, it is my foundation. My daddy always told me, (as she looked into the sea of excited faces to point him out), you can have the most beautiful home in the biggest building, but if it dose not have a foundation it will crumble. And so, my family is my foundation. How I became successful is because of family.” ~Tabitha Brown

For the next hour we found ourselves mesmerized by her every response, taking in the insight and her gift. The remaining moments of the night were intimate & soulful. The vibe, the energy and the wisdom were invaluable, leaving everyone in the room inspired. Thank you Tab, for an incredible night!

Her Radio was honored to be a part of this moment. Come on in the room and check out a few the #Views

“It’s just a matter of working while you wait but believing in the waiting season. Remind yourself that if God put something inside of you, it’s there for a reason”

If you get the opportunity to catch her live in your city, DONT MISS IT! “Cooking from the Spirit” is available everywhere October 4th. Let’s continue to lift this Queen Up!
