Big Congratulations are in order for Washington’s new Assistant Coach. From intern in 2020 to NFL History in 2021, Jennifer King has been hired in the fulltime role that, for the first time ever, is held by a black woman. Anything is possible, she says. And her hustle says the rest. "I know she will continue to be an asset. She earned this opportunity with her hard work. The sky is truly the limit for her." says The Washington Team head coach Ron Rivera, adding that the promotion was well deserved through her work in and off season last year. The North Carolina native (woop! REPRESENT) played basketball and softball where she attended college at Guilford, before graduating with a degree in sports management. King went on to play for three professional women’s gridiron teams including the D.C. Divas and interned for the Carolina Panthers in 2018.
